Our Story

Based in Hull, the 2017 UK City of Culture, tenfoot is a small independent lifestyle brand that champions urban life and its subcultures.

'tenfoot' is the term used for the city’s alleyways and back alleys that run behind rows of houses. Growing up, these were the adventure playgrounds and spaces of exploration for countless urban childhoods and mischievous youths.

Inspired by the energy of urban life—its music, art, and subcultures— and with a passion for clothes and design, we create screen printed designs, in limited numbers, that are an expression of identity, place and belonging.

Our Products

Sustainability and ethics are non negotiables for us. Our garments are made from natural fibres sourced from sustainable plantations, ensuring softness and durability. Organic cotton is a standard and any polyester used is recycled, aligning with our dedication to a circular economy. Our suppliers are members of Fairtrade/Fair Wear Foundation, ensuring ethical garment production.  They also conform to GOTS, GRS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100, standards.

Screen-printing is performed by a local, East Yorkshire based company with over 10 years experience, guaranteeing quality and vibrancy in our prints.
